1. Who We Are

Great Ads AI is a platform operated by Great Marketing AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a performance marketing agency based in the United States. Our platform helps marketing agencies manage Facebook and Instagram ad accounts, create and schedule social media content, and generate AI-powered creatives.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide our ad management and content scheduling services:

• Account information: Name, email address, and organization details collected when you sign up via our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Meta platform data: When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we access your ad accounts, Pages, Instagram Business accounts, ad performance insights, leads, and content you authorize via Meta’s OAuth. We store access tokens in encrypted form.
• Content and creative assets: Images, videos, captions, and ad creatives you upload or generate through the platform.
• Usage data: Feature usage, session activity, and error logs collected via PostHog and Sentry to improve the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the platform and provide ad management and content scheduling features
• To publish posts, carousels, and reels to your authorized Instagram and Facebook Pages on your behalf
• To generate AI-powered ad creatives and captions using the content you provide
• To display performance insights and reports from your Meta ad accounts
• To send operational notifications (e.g., Slack reports, approval reminders)
• To detect and fix bugs and improve platform performance

4. Meta and Instagram Data

Great Ads AI uses Meta’s Graph API to access your Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts. We use this access solely to:

• Read ad account performance data and leads on your behalf
• Create, manage, and publish content to Pages and Instagram accounts you authorize
• Schedule and track posts via our content calendar

We do not sell Meta platform data to third parties, use it for targeted advertising outside your own campaigns, or share it beyond what is required to operate the platform. Data obtained from Meta APIs is used only in accordance with Meta’s Platform Policy.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secured database (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with row-level security that isolates each organization’s data. Meta access tokens are encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and limit access to your data to only what is needed to deliver our services.

6. Great Ads AI Browser Extension

We offer a Chrome browser extension, “Great Ads AI — Save Ads,” that lets you save ads into your Great Ads AI swipe file while browsing. This section describes how the extension handles data.

What the extension accesses

• Ad content you choose to save: When you click the “Save” button on an ad, the extension reads the content of that ad on the page you are actively viewing (its image or video thumbnail, ad copy, advertiser name, and the ad’s source URL) and sends it to your Great Ads AI account. It only reads a page when you explicitly click Save or use the save shortcut — it does not read, track, or record your general browsing.
• Your login session: The extension reuses your existing Great Ads AI sign-in via our authentication provider (Clerk) by reading the session cookie for your Great Ads AI account, so you don’t have to log in twice. It does not read cookies for unrelated websites.
• Local settings: The extension stores your session token and preferences (such as your selected brand board) locally in your browser using Chrome storage.

Where the extension runs

The extension is active only on the Facebook Ad Library, the LinkedIn Ad Library, Instagram, and greatads.io. It requests access to these sites so it can display the Save button and send saved ads to your account. It does not run on other websites.

The extension does not sell your data, does not use it for advertising, does not track your browsing activity, and does not download or execute any remote or third-party code — all of its code is bundled in the published package. Ads you save are sent only to your own Great Ads AI account and handled under this Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): Ad management and content publishing APIs
• Clerk: User authentication and organization management
• Supabase: Database and file storage
• Anthropic / Google / OpenAI: AI content and creative generation
• Sentry: Error monitoring (no PII in error payloads)
• PostHog: Product analytics (no personally identifiable data)

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Revoke Meta platform access at any time through your Facebook account settings (Settings → Apps and Websites)
• Request that we delete all data associated with your account

To request data deletion, email us at rafael@greatmarketing.ai with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” We will process your request within 30 days.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you close your account, we delete your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

10. Children’s Privacy

Great Ads AI is a business platform not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
